Councilman Cecil (Cee) Dee will be sworn into office and take his seat as City Councillor, starting next Monday.

The newest City Councillor is "looking forward to working with such a dynamic team as we have now. I'm honoured that I was chosen to represent my area," Dee says.

Mayor Smith says that he's pleased that Dee was elected to the seat recently vacated by the resignation of Councillor Thompson. "You couldn't ask for a better man for the job."

Dee, and his wife, Beatrice, moved back to Lloyd City in 1990, when Dee retired from the military. He has spent the last 10 years farming in the district.

City Council meets every Monday at 7:00. The meetings are televised live and replayed on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m.
