Okay, guys, this is just one idea that I've had for the opening pages. The Navigation buttons on the right would lead to the different parts of the magazine. Based on what I understood at the meeting, those would include such things as:
I could put the nav bar onto one piece, that would put space for another 4 or so buttons if we needed them. We could also divide the nav buttons into two sections and put some on each side of the center text. That would help to shorten the page. The same basic layout would be used for each page. The crest and the title, with the animation piece (the banner could be optional for the individual pages), would be on each page. The nav bar would be on the left and blank space on the right. Another option for the individual pages might be to have the main navigation buttons (the same as would be on the index page for the different sections) on the right and the section navigation buttons on the left. <sigh> Yes, I know that the banner needs work. If we use a background similar to this one, I could remove the white background from both the buttons and the banner. At the very least, I could tone down the brightness of the white - make it more a yellowy/parchment type colour. What do you think? |
